Can social media cause self-esteem issues?
Recently I became aware of an app called "Spontana" which is a social media platform designed to rate selfies and connect people who find each other attractive. While things like this often look innocent and fun on the outside, what can really happen when we compare ourselves to others and listen to judgments based on outward appearances? Also, when is the last time you posted a picture online that hadn't been edited? Read this article from someone who experienced the app first hand and ask yourself what's really worth being judged, your appearance or your heart?
